*We got "roasted" during the holiday trip at Koh Lipe, Thailand in November 2017😂😂*
Let's see what we had summarized from our experience in Koh Lipe, Thailand!
Transportation
There is no direct flight to Koh Lipe but yes to Langkawi/Hatyai. You need to take ferry/speedboat to Koh Lipe from Langkawi/Hatyai.
*Note: There is no "formal" pier on the island, getting your leg wet is the first experience you will have once you reached there.

Direct flight to Langkawi > Ferry of Tropical Charters Langkawi from Jetty Point > Koh Lipe
Food
A lot of restaurant concentrated along the Pattaya Beach and Central Street. The cuisine here mostly taste sweet & sour. There are a few restaurants that I feel good to, one of it named King Crab Restaurant, which located at the turning corner of the Central Street, next to a clothing shop. You may need to take roughly 5 - 10 minutes walk from the Pattaya Beach to reach there.

Night Snorkeling, Night Diving, Swiming with Bioluminescence (Blue Tears), Fire Performance, Grab a drink and walk along the beach to relax your mind with the companion of the night wave sound.
Place to go in Koh Lipe：
Pattaya Beach
Carpeted with smooth sand.
A good place to swim and play along with the sand during day time, and have a walk or grab a drink for a chit-chat session at after the dawn.
There may be fire performances at the designated area along the beach during nighttime. You might find Bioluminescence (Blue Tears) after your steps near the water point along the beach too. (Remember to prepare a night view camera before looking for the Blue Tears)
Sunrise Beach
A quite and calm side of the Koh Lipe. Away from the Central Street, while having a few resorts along.
You may get the clearest sea here compared to the other two beaches of Koh Lipe.
It is a well-known spot for capturing the sunrise, and is nice to snorkel and kayak here too.
Sunset Beach
You might find that the environment here is totally different from the other two beaches.
Unlike the Pattaya Beach and the Sunrise Beach,
1) You might need to take a taxi to reach here if your are staying near the Central Street.
2) Best place for the sunset.
Central Street
Shopping! Eat! Drink! Photo! Massage!
Personal Opinion
If you are a snorkeling enthusiast, you may enrich your album with lively images/video of the wonderful & colorful corals and fish here. I surely will be back here again someday.
Cautions:
There are stray dogs in the island, just a gentle reminder to parent to take good care on their kids.

Strongly recommend to stay in A plus hotel, which located at the center of Central Street. Price is fair, environment is clean and quite, and also surrounded by mini market and nice Thai-style street foodsssss.
